Ceres gets bicycles thanks to AfrikaBurn Pedals for Peace Project
12-13 June – Thanks to the AfrikaBurn Pedals For Peace project we found ourselves in the Ceres area teaching safe cycling and basic mechanical training to the learners who will be receiving their bicycles next month. This project is under the capable hands of the CBI : Ceres Sakekamer. 200 Bicycles have been allocated to the Ceres area and most of these bicycles are going to individuals at schools including Ceres Secondary School Morrisdale Secondary School, Laerskool Gericke, St Marks Primary School, Boy Muller Primere Skool Boplaas Primary Waveren High School Wolseley Secondary School, Witzenberg Primary School. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the hosting Schools Boy Muller Primary in Koue Bokkeveld, St Marks Primary in Prince Albert Hamlet and Wolseley Secondary School in Wolseley. We look forward to the distribution which takes place in Ceres on the 12th July 2019.
